This is a reminder about the 8th-11th graders playing at Graduation tomorrow, May 21st. You are to meet at Calera High School at 4:45pm dressed in all black for the performance. We should be done around 8:30pm. The ceremony will be at the University of Montevallo and we will be taking buses there. See you then!

Who: 8th-12th Grade Band Students
Attire: Concert Black (All Black)
Meeting Place/Time: Meet at Calera High School Band Room promptly at 4:45pm for full band rehearsal starting exactly at 5:00pm!
Departure: We will depart on buses at approximately 5:30pm to the University of Montevallo once all instruments and stands are loaded on trailer. We will set up at Montevallo at 6pm
Performance Time: 7:00pm
*Graduation will be done between 8pm and 9pm. Parents can check you out from Montevallo or you can ride the bus back to the high school where they can pick you up. Messages will be sent out on status of the ceremony so parents can plan ahead for pick up.

Just a reminder, the Band Banquet will be on Tuesday, May 14th at 7pm in the CHS cafeteria. Dinner will be lasagna, garlic bread, salad, tea, and chocolate cake for dessert. Current band students eat for free. Everyone else will be $5.00 per plate. The banquet will celebrate all the achievements of the band this year and recognize all the seniors for their work. This is a formal event so make sure you dress up!

The CHS Spring Band Concert will be tomorrow, May 7th at 7pm in the CHS auditorium. Admission is free. Please come support the CHS Band program. The dress for the band students will be all black. All band students need to be on stage ready to go by 6:45pm. See you there!

Drum Major auditions will be held in the CHS Band room tomorrow, May 3rd at 3:30pm. This is an open audition so family and friends are welcomed to come support the candidates!!!

o  Tuesday, May 7th at 7pm in the CHS Auditorium

o  Attire is all black!

·      Calera Eagle Band Banquet

o  May 14th at 7pm in CHS Cafeteria

o  This will be a formal event so dress up. NO SHORTS OR JEANS!

o  Current band students will eat for free!

o  Everyone else will be $5.00 per plate

o  Dinner will consist of: Lasagna, garlic bread, salad, chocolate cake, sweet tea or water

o  First down payment for the 2013-2014 Band is due that night!

·      CHS Band will play at Commencement on Tuesday, May 21st at 7pm

o  This is the final exam for the high school band students. You must attend and be with the band. Failure to do so will result in a zero for your final!

o  Attire will be all black.

o  The band will need to be there by 6pm. A bus will be provided for transportation to and from the University of Montevallo.

The CMS Band Concert is tomorrow, Thursday May 2nd at 7pm at CHS Auditorium. Come out and support our younger musicians!
